exclude category in blog page

I want to exclude a category in page_blog.php

I see this:
// Get Categories
$categories = rwmb_meta( ‘minti_blogcategories’, ‘type=checkbox_list’ );

Is there a setting in admin that I can define categories? I can not find anything.
