Experiencing errors using VC when editing a page

Hi, Ive installed the Unicon theme and the demo content. I would like to edit the pages using VC pro. But when I open the pages in either VC or elementor i get the following:

When I click on elements or sections code pops up and not the usual drag and drop editable options. Also elements are missing from the page builders when selected. Like so:

Im I missing something?
