Portfolio Items Overlap Occasionally on Page Load

We’re using the portfolio plugin to display faculty members on this page:

https://www.mooreexeced.com/faculty/

It typically works fine. But occasionally — the filter/grid script kicks in before all the images/entries are loaded and there is an overlapping effect. Is there anything we can do about this? Can the script be adjusted so that it waits until all the entries finish loading before it displays the grid?
