Portfolio Subtitles – Remove row/space between portfolio titles and subtitles?

Hello, I really like how you can display each portfolio item’s subtitle under its main title when displaying portfolio items in a grid. I’m wondering if it’s possible to remove the empty row/space that exists between the titles and subtitles so that the subtitle appears directly under the main title with a soft return, rather than a new paragraph? Thanks in advance for your help!
