Raw JS replaces the ]]> tag

I am trying to use the following javascript in a Raw JS block.

<script type="text/javascript">   /* <![CDATA[ */   <JS CODE> /* ]]> */ </script>

For some reason the html output of the output is not appearing exactly as I give it.

The problem is that the line
/* ]]> */ is changed into ]] & gt ; (with added spaces because if I don’t add them the forum shows >)

Other > or < are not affected. Just this line.
