Responsive/Mobile – Zoom – Samsung Galaxy A53 using Chrome

My client is having issues using “pinch-to-zoom” on our responsive site. I have “zoom on mobile devise” disabled, so the responsive version of the site is active.

Even though they are looking at the responsive version of the site, they still want to be able to pinch-to zoom. They are using Samsung Galaxy A53 phones and Chrome. They can go to other responsive websites and pinch-to-zoom, but for some reason not theirs. They tried using Explorer and it works (no issues). They cleared their cache and updated phones, still not working.

I’ve tried on various platforms with success. Initially I thought it must be device/search engine related, but because it’s only a problem on their site, I’m wondering if it’s a theme issue.

No issues:
• iPhone 11, 10, and 13 mini using Safari
• Galaxy S20 FE 5G using Chrome
• Galaxy A71 using Chrome
• Google Pixel 3 using Chrome

Issues:
• Samsung Galaxy A53 using Chrome
