Galleries and Portfolios

Hi there,

I am hoping someone can help guide me on the best way to share gifs using your Unicon theme. Ultimately, I am trying to achieve something like this. So, my main question is whether there is a way to make the featured photo a gif file? When I tried it, it didn’t work, so I was wondering if I am doing something wrong?

Alternatively, I tried to post the gif files in the blog post, like this using a gallery, but that did not work either. The files were distorted and did would not play the gif files. Also, is there a way to customize the galleries so they’re not square? I’d like to maintain the rectangular nature of the photos.

Any ideas/suggestions you can lend in this regard would be extremely helpful.
