Portfolio Slider stretching in Full Width (Slider) vs. Full Width (No Slider)

First, wonderful theme. I’m hoping you can help me here… When I add Portfolio Slides and then set the Detail Layout to “Full Width (No Slider” the images display nicely and crisp at their full size (and not any larger). If I change ONLY the Detail Layout setting to “Full Width (Slider)” the images are enlarged beyond their actual size, which causing some obvious image blurring. Is it possible to still use the slider option, but not stretch the images beyond their actual size? Thank you in advance!
