Site broken and needs updating, Page code is now outside of Visual Composer

Hey there, so we just renewed support to have you help with getting our theme updated and fixed. I’m not looking for documentation on how to update a site, I would like the theme devs who know the code well to make sure its done right.

It seems the site has pulled the code out of Visual Composer and put it above it in a wordpress text box. (SEE PIC LINKS BELOW)
so there is no GUI for the content anymore. There is a need for everything to be updated, the theme / visual composer, wordpress and php. but as of now updating php breaks the site, so the hope is that once you update the site to the lastest version, we can safely update the wordpress / plugins,/ php after that and the code will be back into VC instead of sitting above it.

Basically we would love to have you SAFELY update the theme for us which I assume would update the Visual Composer that came with it. HOPEFULLY fixing the issue of the page code not being in Visual Composer. Then we can do the wordpress / php update after if you think that is the safest order to do it in.
